Rent Proenza Schouler for Structured Elegance
Before they had even finished university, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez were the talk of New York City and rapidly becoming the talk of the fashion industry. Attending Parsons School of Design and having been apprentices of Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs, McCollough and Hernandez struck up a friendship that was rapidly going to make them a dream team in American fashion. With skills and ideas way beyond their years, the pair’s senior thesis was bought by Barneys New York as their first collection with many other retailers vying for pieces.
Having labeled their brand after their mothers’ maiden names, the designs from Proenza Schouler continue to awe and inspire the fashion industry and its followers all over the world since it was founded in 2002. Their latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection was filled with forties designs that included structured button up short and jacket combinations and A-line skirts.
