It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we’re thinking PINK.
London Fashion Week showed an array of pink themed runways ranging from Topshop Unique to Celine. Although it appears to be more of a spring/summer colour it’s clear that a winter wardrobe doesn’t need to be dull and dark. So put a spring in your step and embrace the pink trend this Autumn/Winter season.
Sandra Bullock recently wore a beautiful fuchsia dress in New York whilst promoting her new film which just proves that you can rock the pink trend in all seasons, weathers and locations! Teaming her outfit with a pair of nude heels, statement black bag and diva-esque sunglasses, it is clear that Bullock can rock bright colours and does so effortlessly!
We picked out our favourite 3 pink dresses in homage to Sandra and Breast Cancer Awareness.
This gorgeous strapless Marches Notte dress is so simple and the black lace detail adds to the simplicity. The dress evokes Hollywood Glamour and teamed with a small black clutch and patent peep toes will get all heads turning whatever the event.
There is nothing better than a strappy dress! Easy to wear and with the slight layering effect this Halston Heritage slip dress is perfect for a variety of shapes and sizes due to the way it hangs.
The Temperley Kiera Dress is a gorgeous figure hugging silk dress. With the slight, capped shoulders it is very much suited for women who are conscious of their arms as the attention is taken away from these areas and drawn to the zip detailing.

This dress is the sartorial equivalent of killing two birds with one stone. In this little Tibi number you can tick off two trends: brights and grown-up digital flower prints. That’s why it’s our Dress of the Week.
A whole host of designers were showcasing grown-up florals for Spring/Summer including Stella McCartney and Erdem, plus with Jil Sander doing for colour what Celine did for minimalism, you can be sure to be on trend with acid pop colours. This dress certainly isn’t for wallflowers. The trick to pulling it off is pairing such a vivid hue of blue with calming neutrals (handy considering camel and neutrals were so in for Autumn/Winter!)
Whether you choose biscuit, mocha or caramel, your shoes and bag will ground this look and make it totally wearable. For instance, add this unassuming Wilbur and Gussie Harriet clutch to keep the focus on the dress.
Tibi printed silk dress is £89 for 2 nights or £99 for 7 nights. The Wilbur and Gussie Harriet clutch bag in caramel is £39 with any dress for 2 or 7 nights. Borrowed alone, it is £49 for 7 nights or £69 for a month.
